There are going to be some minor changes in the 9POV report from 26th December 2025.
Presently: For the last few years, we have shaded in yellow either the Developed score or Less Developed score. While it was easy to notice which was more developed between the 2 scores for all the types, it did not indicate whether it was truly a Developed or Less Developed score – it simply showed which was more developed between the two.
From Dec 26th: We will make some slight adjustments to the optics of the 9POV chart on page 4. Under the Developed and Less Developed sections, you will soon see 3 different shades – if it is uncoloured, it is a stable score that ranges from Average to Above Average; if you see a green shade, it is a Highly Developed score; if you see red/pink shade, it is a Less Developed score.
This will help you zoom in on areas to have discussions with your coaches/candidates, avoiding any confusion around all the numbers in the chart.
Important Note: The scores are Percentage scores. In essence, this works like an exam score – if you see sores like 90 or above, the test taker perceives a very high level of competence (or incompetence if in the Less Developed section). If you see scores like 50 or 60, the test taker perceives an average level of competency.
Here is an example of what the old versus new chart will look like. Chart 1 is what it looks like now and Chart 2 is what it will look like from 26th December 2025. Scores are the same but just the shading will change.
